Why you should prioritise eating whole foods


Whole foods are foods straight from the ground, tree or exist naturally in nature.


Whole foods are obviously better for us as they aren’t processed and contain so many amazing minerals and vitamins in one food naturally - they are the mack daddy of the food game for nutrients and are designed to help your body function optimally.


Whole foods are generally lower in calories but are much more filling than processed foods as what many people don’t know is that a lot of our “favourite” processed foods contain chemicals that are designed to make you want more and miss out your body cues.


Eating whole foods helps your body to naturally know when its full - perfect if you’re on that intuitive eating buzz but want to also lose a little weight.


Whole foods tend to be naturally lower in sugar and higher in fiber they are easier for our bodies to digest and balance out our blood sugar levels.


Where possible choose whole foods or minimally processed foods and I promise you your body will respond!

Fruit, Vegetables, legumes, nuts, seeds, whole grains, meat, fish, eggs, herbs, greens.
